Setter Ridge Flash “ High In Trial”

Congratulations to Rose Miller and Jordan, Ch Set’r Ridge’s Deep Impact Am Can CD JH (Zion x Josie), on winning All Breed High In Trial September 9th with a score of 197 ½ out of 200. They tied for 1st place in Novice B with a sheltie, they won the run off for 1st place over 30 dogs. Then there was a tie, for high in Trial with a Tibetan Terrier from the Open class and they won that run off also. Jordan also won the awards: Highest Scoring English Setter Dog, Highest Scoring Sporting Dog, Highest Scoring Champion, Highest Scoring Hunting Dog. Jordan finished his CD with a Dog World Award, (which is three scores in a row over 195). They also competed in Canada winning two All Breed High In Trials to finish Jordan’s CD there. We are so excited for Rose and Jordan. Jordan is at the Field Trainers for ten days having a blast working birds. Congratulations also to Julio and Flavia Cezar on Prince (Int Ch Brz Ch Noel’s Bayside Prince Of Gold) (Canaan x Crystal) for winning his first All Breed Best In Show two weekends ago.
More winners: Amber Gupton and Riley, Set’r Ridge’s Platinum Gold (Canaan x Annie), for winning Best of Breed in July and recently winning three more single points to give him seven all together. Sue Linhares Jordon , Astraea’s Leap For The Gold (Canaan x Quasi) for winning WD both days last weekend. Janet Evans Annie, Set’r Ridge Rumor Has It (Ben x Chloe), for winning RWB at her first show, Best of Winners for a 3pt major from the 9 to 12 class. She is off to Hunt Tests at the end of this month and in October. Set’r Ridge’s Supereminent Sheba (Bubbax Ritsy) is up to 7 points, thanks Jill for taking such good care of her. Sheba is owned by Melissa. Kathi Dunbar’s Andrew, Set’r Ridge Rhythm’N Blues (Canaan x Nadia) for his Best of Breed win. Sharon Samuelson and Dave Wentworth’s Trystan (Canaan x Desi) who won Best of Winners for another point last weekend. Sergio and Rodin Jch Brz Ch Set’r Ridge Rodin (Shoebe x Josie) for finishing his Brazilian Championship. Summer and Dale Bennett for Autumn’s Ch Set’r Ridge’s Autumn Skye (Preacher x Ritsy) for her recent Breed wins. Skip and Nancy Alexander’s Melissa , Set’r Ridge’s In My Dreams (Canaan x Nadia) for winning two Best of Breeds last week. Lisa Monical and Ritchie, Set’r Ridge’s Ritchie Ritch (Ben x Nadia) for two more points last weekend, and her niece Jessica for winning Best Jr Handler in Novice with Melissa. Sally Langenberg’s Powder , (Zion x Meg) who won BOW last weekend. Joy Kealy and Ryelee (Canaan x Jira) won 2 pts and went Reserve to a major one day last week from the puppy class. Pavel and Magdalena Vosalik’s Yanni, Set’r Ridge’s All American (Canaan x Nadia), for winning 4x CAC of the Czech Republic, 2x CAC of the Slovak Republic,3x CACIB , 2 reserve CACIB, and 3x Best of Breed. He will compete again in October.
In the top ten English Setters in the US right now based on All Breed competition, Ch Set’r Ridge Wyndswept In Gold (Hadji x Tissa) is #1, Ch Set’r Ridge’s Photo Copy (Canaan x Desi) is #4 she was only shown for five months this year, Ch Sunshine Palace S. Golden State (Hadji son) is #5, Max is a product of a frozen semen breeding. Ch Stagedoor ‘N MiJeans Prima (Hadji x Emily) is #7, also in the top standings is Ch Esthete’s Splender In The Grass (Hadji x Katie).
