We have new photos of the liver puppies on our web site. There were five puppies in the litter, one blue, one lemon and three liver. Also there are new photos of Emanuel, Dasara, Khorizma, Mishah and Micah, and Joseph.

We have eight: blue, orange and tri color puppies now out of Emanuel –Set’r Ridge’s Gold In Platinum and Dani-Ch Set’r Ridge’s Animation.

Khorizma –Ch Set’r Ridge’s Khorizma just whelped seven orange puppies out of Ben –Ch Brasswinds Hot Topic (Hadji son).

Flair – Set’r Ridge’s Natural High (AFC Elhews Paladin x NAFC FC AFC Nevada Neon Moon) won a four point major at and all breed pointing trial. She now has six points towards her Field Championship in limited showing. Flair is the only Pointer that we own. She is Paul’s Field Trial and Hunting Dog. Her brother just finished his Field Championship and Amateur Field Championship. They are two years old. The National Pointer Field Trial is in Sunnyside Washington this year. We are pretty excited about both dogs and their mom running there with their breeder Rich Matske.

Micah won her class in Juniors recently for her first Juniors win. She also showed at the County Fair and qualified for State, which will be in a little over a week. It was a little frustrating for her as her dog Mishah-Set’r Ridge’s Eternally Impressed (Shoebe x Snowy) came in heat a week before the Fair. Her horse (a buckskin paint) is now two years old. She will start breaking her this fall.

Montana is involved with Football six days a week and is just starting electric guitar lessons. This will be Hunter’s first year of school. It will be very strange not having a kid at home every day all day. He is going to a private Christian School.

Rachel and Terry Barnes stayed with us for a month. We had an awesome time training dogs. We did a little Field Work, Tracking and Obedience, didn’t quite get to Agility like we wanted to. We went to a show and attended Micah’s Fair. The kids played on the beach, swam at the pool, went inner tubing on the lake, and rode the horses.

Hope your summer was a great one! Melissa
