Bria wins Best of Breed today at Westminster.

Bria BIS Ch Set’r Ridge’s Wyndswept In Gold (Hadji x Tissa) finished 2002 as the #6 Dog in the U.S. out of all of the breeds. She was the #1 Sporting Dog, and now is finishing her carrier at Westminster today. She won the breed, so watch her on cable/Satatlite tonight 5:00 Pacific time, 8:00PM Eastern time. Bria also won the English Setter Association of America’s Specialty on Sunday. This was Bria’s 19th Specialty win. Congratulations to Debi and Elliott and Kelly and Dr and Mrs Truesdale.

Sunday at the Specialty Mo Jo Can Ch Sevenoaks Sorceress (Canaan x Phoenix), won Winners Bitch and Best Of winners. MoJo is owned by Hilary Oakes.
Emanuel Set’r Ridge’s Gold In Platinum (Ben x Nadia), won Best in Sweepstakes at the same Specialty.

Also McGuire, Pemberly Kiss It Goodbye (Canaan x Taylor) won Back to back Winners Dog at Palm Springs at the two Specialties. Owned by Janet and Preston Gray.

Jared, Set’r Ridge’s Audacious (Canaan x Maggy) won Best In Show at the Czech Republic to start out his year on a good lead. He is owned by David Christina and Barbara Gruzzi, Italy.
Janni Set’r Ridge’s All American (Canaan x Nadia) won CAC of the Czech Republic and reserve CACIB. Owned by Pavel and Magdelena Vosalik, Czech.
Simon Set’r Ridge’s Arrogance (Canaan x Jira) won 1st place at his first shows. Owned by Maria Lisa Giacamoni, Italy.

Also this month; Shine Ch Set’r Ridge’s Sunshine Superb (Bubba x Ritsy) finished her American Championship. Owned by Sumiko Ikeda, Japan.
ZZ Ch Set’r Ridge’s Aerdon Sharp Dressed man (Canaan x Meg) finished his Championship. Owned by Kayla and Pam Kozak and bred by Mary and Laurie Engel.
Aspen Set’r Ridge’s Faith Moves Mnts (Canaan x Josie) won Winners Dog. Owned by Buffy DeWolf.

Hanna Set’r Ridge A Deeper Faith (Zion x Maggy) was Winners Bitch. Owned by Lincoln and Christy Lloyd.
Corbet Set’r Ridge’s Mystic Gold Label (Zion x Mikayla) won Winners Dog both days to leave him with one major needed to finish. Owned by Kim Cain.

Talia Set’r Ridge’s Intensity (Canaan x Eve) won Best of Breed at the Golden State Kennel Club. She also received two Junior Hunter passes this weekend, and she is working on her agility title. Talia is owned with Rachel Barnes.

Hinton Ch Laverstock’s Hinton Savannah (Canaan x Lola) won Winners this weekend in Oregon, to finish his Championship. He is owned by Ken and Genevieve Deich.
Autumn Ch Set’r Ridge Autumn Skye (Preacher x Ritsy) won Best of Breed on Sunday in Oregon. Owned by Summer and Dale Bennett.

Paul and I are running dogs in the All Breed Field Trial coming up. Sahara Set’r Ridge’s Everlasting, is running in Derby and Zion Dual Ch Set’r Ridge’s Real Gold JH, in the Gun Dog Stakes. Paul is running his dog as well in the Gun Dog Stakes.
We just returned from the Specialties in New Jersey. We are exhausted from flying with no sleep. It was great to see our friends again.
